How to Set Up Just Drive In the Nexx App

Overview

In this article you will learn how to set up and use the Just Drive feature in the Nexx app. Just Drive allows you to set a radius around the gate opener that when entered in a moving vehicle causes the gate to open.
This feature is still being worked on and may not work consistently. If you experience issues, please submit troubleshooting logs in the Nexx app and contact Nexx support at Support@Getnexx.com

Procedure

Open Device Settings


Select Just Drive (Beta)


Toggle Just Drive

The app will prompt you with a disclaimer when enabling Just Drive. Please read and understand this disclaimer before enabling the feature.


Set the Gate's Position

Go stand right next to the opener's cabinet and tap "Set Device Location"


Set the Trigger Radius

The radius that you need to enter to trigger the gate to open is customizable. Tap "Set Trigger Radius" then use the slider to increase or decrease the radius of detection. Press save when you are finished.
