How to Replace the Battery in a Wireless Transmitter

In this article you will learn how to replace the battery in a wireless transmitter. The battery life of the remote is typically 12-18 months. Some indications that the battery is beginning to go bad is that the range of your remote diminishes or you have to press the button several times to get the gate to operate.

What You Need

  1. A new 12v type 23A battery

Procedure

Open the Swinging Door at the Bottom of the Remote

Push in on the top right of the remote's door while sliding it to the left.

Remove and Replace the Battery

Insert the positive side of the battery first as it will not fit while inserting the negative side first.

Close the Swinging Door at the Bottom of the Remote
