In this article you will learn how to wire other brand free exit devices to your USAutomatic gate opener control board. These instructions apply to all current USAutomatic gate openers.

- A small flat-head screwdriver.

Wiring Other Brand Free Exit Devices

Compare the documentation provided with your free exit device with the chart below to understand where to connect each wire.
J2 Terminal Block # | Exit Device Wire

| +12vdc (power)
|
#2 or #7
| 0vdc (ground)
|
#2 or #7
| Common
|
#9
| Normally Open (N/O)
|
- Disconnect the J2 terminal from the control board.
- Unscrew the terminals listed above.
- Insert the wires according to the chart above and tighten the screws.
- Plug the J2 terminal back into the control board.
