Overview
In this
article you will learn how to add a temporary access code to a premium
wireless keypad. A temporary access code is a code that can be used up
to 9 times before it is automatically deleted. This is useful if someone
requires access to the gate a limited number of times. The premium
wireless keypad is capable of holding up to 256 different temporary
access codes. A temporary access code can be up to 5 digits long. If the
desired temporary access code is less than 5 digits, it must end with a
"#" sign. The "#" is a part of the temporary access code. An example of
this process will be provided at the end of the article.
Procedure
Enter the Master Password Then Press 9
The
default master password is "11111". The keypad will give 2 short beeps
if this step is done correctly. If you get a long beep at this step,
your master password may be incorrect.
Enter the Desired Temporary Access Code and Then Press 9
If the desired temporary access code is less than 5 digits, it must end with a "#" sign.
Example codes: "24680" "4321#" "25#".
Re-enter the Desired Temporary Access Code and Then Press #
Enter the Number of Activations (1-9) and Then 1 (channel #)
The
temporary code can be programmed to work 1 to 9 times before it gets
deleted, select the desired amount of activations followed by the
channel number (typically 1).
The keypad will gives 2 short beeps indicating the temporary code has been added successfully.
If
you'd like to test the new temporary code, type the code in and confirm
the keypad rapidly beeps. Keep in mind this will use one of the
activations.
